Frequently asked questions

Everything travelers ask before switching to Roamly — from how the AI plans your days to how offline mode and group editing work.

What is Roamly?

Roamly is an AI trip planner for iPhone, Android, and the web. Describe where you want to go and Roamly drafts a day-by-day itinerary with real transit times, opening hours, and reservations — then lets you and your travel companions edit it together in real time.

How does Roamly's AI trip planner work?

Tell Roamly your destination, dates, budget, and travel style. It generates a full itinerary in seconds — flights and trains, stops, restaurants, and downtime — then lets you swap anything with a tap. Every change re-optimises the rest of the day so you never end up with a 9pm arrival at a museum that closed at 6.

Is Roamly free?

Roamly is free to try for 7 days with full access to every feature — no card charged until day 8. After the trial, Roamly Premium is €6.99/month or €69.99/year (roughly €5.83/month). You can cancel any time before the trial ends and pay nothing.

Does Roamly work offline?

Yes. Once a trip is planned, its itinerary, maps, phrasebook, and reservations are cached to your device so they open instantly with no signal — useful on trains, in mountain villages, and on flights. Changes sync automatically the next time you're online.

Can I plan a trip with friends or family?

Yes. Invite anyone by link — they don't need a paid account to view or comment. Collaborators can vote on stops, suggest edits, and see live updates without spreadsheets, group chats, or duplicate Google Docs.

Which countries and cities does Roamly cover?

Roamly plans trips worldwide. Coverage is deepest across Europe, North America, Japan, and Southeast Asia — including train networks, city passes, timed-entry museums, and regional transit cards — with worldwide points-of-interest data for anywhere else you can point on a map.

Is my trip data private?

Yes. Your trips are stored in your own account and only shared with the collaborators you explicitly invite. Roamly never sells your data or uses your itineraries to train third-party AI models. You can export or delete your data at any time from Profile → Privacy.

How do I cancel my Roamly Premium subscription?

Open Profile → Subscription and tap Cancel. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period — no fees, no email required. If you cancel during the 7-day trial you are not charged at all.

Does Roamly handle flights, hotels, and bookings?

Roamly plans and organises your trip end-to-end and forwards you to trusted booking partners for flights, hotels, trains, and activities. Confirmations you forward to your Roamly inbox are parsed automatically and slotted into the right day of your itinerary.

What languages does Roamly support?

The Roamly app is available in English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Dutch, and French, with more locales rolling out through 2026. On-the-ground phrasebooks cover 40+ languages so you can ask for directions, order food, and handle emergencies wherever you travel.
